The Background
The journey started for the two directors of Manter Service Group in 1985 when they first met in kindergarten. David Terek and Chris Dalman have been best mates ever since. They both become apprentice electricians in the early 2000’s and following their own journey, they had covered an extensive range of the electrical industry and still have a strong passion to perfect the trade and deliver projects to the highest quality.
David Terek:
A father of 2 daughters and a son, I have worked in the electrical industry for over 15 years. On completion of my apprenticeship over 10 years ago, I have successfully run my own business covering all aspects of electrical work.
Having built a team of apprentices and A grades over the years, I pride myself on generating a positive work environment for my employees. Work ethic, drive and attention to detail have been a strong focus of mine to make sure the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
With a wide range of knowledge across the whole electrical industry, I have focused the last 5 years on installing split systems for large scale heating and cooling companies. Acquiring my Certificate 2 in refrigeration has given me the opportunity to further develop the business to work outside of just the electrical niche of the market.
Working with Chris has always been easy and efficient in the past. We share the same passion to create a company that works productively and efficiently to a high standard of quality and safety.
Chris Dalman:
A father of 4 daughters, I spent the first 10 years of my career working for a company specialling in commercial electrical mechanical (HVAC) control systems. This role gave me extensive knowledge in designing and installing complex control circuits and integrating and commissioning BMS systems (Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider).
After a few years abroad, I returned to Australia and successfully ran my own business for 7 years, specialising in renewable energy, installing residential and commercial solar and battery systems around Victoria.
In 2017, I took on an opportunity to become a Project Manager for a national company delivering large scale renewable projects around Australia. This gave me exposure to the commercial side of a national business and I thrived on growing the business and improving the safety and quality standards of the projects being delivered. I was promoted to National Project Director, where I ran teams around Australia, delivering large scale, technical projects.
Where we are today
Realising there is a gap in the industry for contractors that happily deliver no-fuss, turn key solutions, safely and to an exceptional standard, David and Chris have banded together to create Manter Service Group. They have selected a team of electricians they have worked with over their
journey to create a team that will deliver a service to a high quality and safety standard. We pride ourselves on the smaller details and expect our team to continually strive to uphold a premium service to our customers.
