The Manter Service Group Story

The journey of Manter Service Group began in 1985 when directors David Terek and Chris Dalman first met in kindergarten. Lifelong friends, they both pursued careers as electricians in the early 2000s.

Over the years, each developed a deep knowledge of the industry, gaining hands-on experience across residential, commercial, mechanical and renewable electrical services.

With a shared passion for the trade and a commitment to quality, David and Chris came together to build a business focused on delivering no-fuss, high-standard electrical solutions across Victoria.

Meet the Directors

David Terek

A proud father of two daughters and a son, David has worked in the electrical industry for over 15 years. After completing his apprenticeship, he successfully ran his own business, covering a wide range of electrical services. Known for his strong work ethic, leadership and attention to detail, David has built teams of apprentices and qualified electricians, creating a positive and productive work environment.

 

Over the past five years, he has specialised in split system air conditioning installs, working with large-scale heating and cooling providers. Holding a Certificate II in Refrigeration, David has expanded his technical expertise beyond traditional electrical work. His long-standing working relationship with Chris is built on shared values: efficiency, quality, and a deep respect for the trade.

 

Chris Dalman

Chris is a father to four daughters and brings more than a decade of experience working in HVAC control systems. He specialised early in his career in the design, installation and integration of complex BMS systems, working with major platforms like Honeywell, Siemens and Schneider. This gave him deep insight into commercial mechanical electrical work.
 

After spending time abroad, Chris returned to Australia and ran his own business, focusing on residential and commercial solar and battery installations across Victoria. In 2017, he stepped into a national role as Project Manager – and later National Project Director – for a leading renewables company, delivering large-scale energy projects across the country. His leadership, technical knowledge and focus on quality and safety continue to shape the way Manter operates today.
